This year, you can bring joy to children that need it the most. With your help, we are hoping to collect 10,000 presents (5,000 online) for the disadvantaged children in our programs, some of whom have experienced abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness and do not normally get the chance to open a present on Christmas.Barnardos Gifts for Kids invites schools, companies, community groups and individuals to help us in our goal of bringing a smile to the face of each child and young person in our care by donating cash, gift cards and toys. By supporting our appeal, you will be sharing in the true spirit of Christmas (the gift of giving) with kids that have had the toughest start in life and need your help the most. All donations processed through Simply Giving will be delivered to Barnardos centres, then distributed directly to our children in need this Christmas. It has never been easier to donate! Your online donation makes an added difference by minimising logistical and administration costs, so we can give gifts to more children. Last year, we were able to help deliver over 10,000 gifts to children who would normally be going without where 2,600 of these toys were donated online. This year, our aim is to double that and reach 5,000 gifts to be purchased online. With your help, we can make a huge and immediate difference to the lives of vulnerable kids in need.
